Real freedom means the freedom to do wrong as well as right. Each of the book's chapters explores a common pharisaic, freedom-stifling tendency then opens the door to the radical nature of the Gospel. Freedom is dangerous; but the alternative is far worse. By Steve Brown.
Grace-the radical nature of the Gospel-literally turned the world upside down. In this study of Galatians, Steve reminds us of the radical nature, critical offense, sanctifying nature and exciting fellowship... of grace. Disturbing reports began to come to Paul that Christians in the Galatian churches were turning away from the Gospel of Freedom. We can imagine Paul's tears falling and his heart breaking as he wrote them a letter, reaching out to snatch his brothers and sisters from the imprisonment of lies and legalism. Jesus Christ declares us, as Christians, "free indeed." In his "Declaration of Independence," Paul calls them-and us-to return. Teaching to change your life and to set you free...not only to walk but to run with great joy!
