You’re Mine

Sometimes love gives… and sometimes love withholds.
Our grandchildren were the last of their friends to get a laptop, to be on the internet, to get a smartphone.
They of course said, but everyone has one. Their parents said, you’re not everybody, you’re mine.
You know, that’s what God says to us too. That’s good, but sometimes it doesn’t feel very good. Love sometimes withhold and then sometimes love give. In both cases, the day will come when you’ll be glad. Meanwhile, God says, it’s okay to complain. You just don’t get a vote.
