I know, our Christian reading ought to be serious, thoughtful and godly. It’s not supposed to be fun. I don’t care. This book is fun, freeing and joyful. Now that I think about it, almost all Christian books ought to be this way. The subject in Matt’s book is serious, the insights profound, and the message so valuable…but it’s fun too.
If you’re tired of checking off the items on “what Christians should be doing if we really love Jesus” list; if you’re tired of what you’ve been promised never happening the way they said it would; and if you’re working hard to be acceptable and pleasing to God and other Christians, you’ll laugh…the laughter that only a free and forgiven Christian can experience.
Get this book and read it. If you laugh too much, ask God to forgive you. He, of course, laughed as Matt wrote it. However, he will forgive you for your perceived sins, even if they aren’t real.
