A Note from Steve...

Did you hear about the elderly couple who, after 65 years of marriage, and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren, went to a divorce lawyer? The lawyer asked them why, after all those years, they would want a divorce. In unison, they said, “Enough is enough!”
   
If you’ve been following the daily Key Life broadcasts, you know that we have been studying the Gospel of John… and started that right after Columbus came to America.
   
Enough is enough!
   
Actually, I’ve loved that study. As a Bible teacher, I’ve taught John several times over the years; but this time, for the first time, there were no time constraints. I wasn’t in a hurry. I went down every side road I wanted and looked at John without anybody telling me to hurry. I learned a lot and hope you did too.
   
This week I’m going to “land that plane” and turn to a far less inspired and wise writer. That would be me. For the next few weeks, I’m going to examine the biblical themes in my new book, Talk the Walk: How to Be Right Without Being Insufferable. It’s not a great book, but not half bad. More important, it is a true book because the ideas aren’t mine. So we’ll be studying the Bible… in a different way.
