A Real Friend

Someone has said, that a friend will forgive you if you kill somebody, but a real friend will help you bury the body.

Jesus said.

Greater love has no one than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. And you are my friends.

I know Jesus loves me. He has to, it’s his job description, but I wonder sometimes if he likes me.

When he says, I’m his friend that changes everything. If you don’t like me, that would hurt, but when I know that Jesus can’t have a party without me, I don’t care so much. That goes both ways.

Jesus loves us. And he also likes us. Me, about 10% more than you.
