Adoption

When I was a paperboy, they had a contest to see who could sell the most subscriptions to the newspaper. I won and I won a trip to the ocean. It was a fun trip and the first time I’d ever seen anything where there was enough.

Anyway, on that trip there was another boy and I asked him how many subscriptions he had sold. He said “None. My father is the circulation manager for the paper.”

They’re going to ask me how I got to Heaven and I’m not gonna list the few good things I did. I’m just going to say, “My father manages this place.”

He’ll be your father, too. Talk to Jesus and he’ll work out an adoption.
