Be Still

It was the mall and he was lost.

He was so little and the world was so big, he didn’t know what to do, so he just stood still and waited. He was sure that his mother would find him. She did and hugged him with joy.

God’s kind of like that, sometimes we work so hard to find him, believe in him, and know him. Maybe we should just give it up and be still. After all, we don’t find him, he finds us.

So, if you really want to discover God, and that’s your heart’s desire, be still and watch for Him. Man, are you going to be surprised.
