Beautiful Ugliness

Have you ever met someone who was so ugly that they would sour milk or would give a wart on a pickle a run for its money.

And then to your surprise, you realize that the ugliness was kind of attractive. That would be a us, ugly, but beautiful. It has to do with our sin and failure and the love with which we’ve been loved and valued. I don’t know about you, but sometimes, dare I say it. I’m thankful for the sin.

Yeah. There are scars and all, but scars are also a sign of healing, scars reflect the salvation, and the scars remind us of where He found us.
