Being Thirsty

Being thirsty doesn’t prove that there’s water, but it’s a pretty good indication that there might be water somewhere.

When all of the new atheists have finished their little speeches, mostly silly drivel, people are still seeking God.

There’s a wonderful story of a student in the old atheist, Russian empire who was asked on an exam, what was the opiate of the people? She wrote that it was God. Later she checked her answer, and when she discovered it was correct, she promptly went to a church and thanked God for getting the answer right. Some things you just can’t stop.
