Billy Graham

One time, Billy and Ruth Graham were at church.

The offering plate was passed and by mistake, Mr. Graham put in a $20 bill. He reached for it, and Mrs. Graham slapped his hand. Honey, I meant to give $10, Mr. Graham said. In God’s eyes, Mrs. Graham replied, it was $10.

God always looks at the heart. Now, I don’t know about you, but that’s kind of scary except for one thing. If Billy Graham had given nothing, Jesus would still have loved him. Luther said it best, we’re great sinners and Jesus is a great Savior. We are and he is.
