Not too long ago, the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus announced that it was closing down.

After 146 years, The Greatest Show on Earth was going silent.

When I was a boy, I used to dream of running away with the circus. I became a pastor. A friend of mine laughed and said, it’s the same thing. Different clowns, still a circus. There’s some truth to that.

Let me tell you another truth in the mess of what is sometimes a church circus, you’ll find Jesus and his unconditional love. He sort of ran away with the circus.
