Come On Home

The Bible says that Enoch lived 365 years and he was no more.

I have a friend who says that God said to him, Enoch, we’ve walked together a long time and we’re closer to my house than yours. Why don’t you come on home with me?

That’s a pleasant thought, when you’re tired, afraid, and things aren’t going well. It’s human to tell your heavenly Father where it hurts, but keep close to him because you aren’t home yet.

One day he’ll say to you, we’re closer to my house than yours. Why don’t you come on home with me? Jesus said he prepared a place for you.
