Control

Most of my life, I’ve tried to be in control.

I’m an adult child of an alcoholic and people like us are big into control. That’ll give you a fit in traffic and in church. My problem is that every time I wasn’t in control, I got hurt. So I’m trying to stop and I’m better in traffic and in church.

You see, I trust you. Well, not you, but God’s Spirit in you. I don’t have to be your mother, because God is your Father. You don’t have to be mine for the same reason. Those crazy drivers, now that’s another thing altogether.
