Denominations in Hell

Somebody has said that if a Baptist, a Methodist, and a Presbyterian should go to hell.

The Baptist would raise the money to air condition the place, the Methodist would organize the campaign, and the Presbyterian would develop a theology of air conditioning.

Maybe I might add, the charismatics would bind Satan, the Lutherans would proclaim justification in the action, and the Episcopalians would offer a toast when it was done.

Maybe that’s what Jesus meant when he said that the gates of hell would not prevail against God’s people.
