Dirty Kid

Forgiveness is easier in the presence of love.

Have you ever noticed that it’s easier to hug a dirty kid than it is to hug a stiff kid? When the kid who needs the love says, it will be cold in a hot place before you hug me. It’s hard. Snarky is always harder to deal with than sin.

That’s true with God and us, our dirt and sin had been forgiven. All of it. Don’t let anybody kid you. It’s not our dirt. It’s our stiffness. Oh Lord. Make me clay in your hands. And thank you for taking care of the dirt.
