Don’t Shout
NOVEMBER 21, 2024
Christians shouldn’t shout as much as we do. We’re called to kindness, mercy, and love.
One time, a political leader who was short was asked why he never shouted.
He said, when a big man shouts, he’s intimidating. When a small man shouts, he looks silly.
There’s probably some truth to that. It’s why Christians shouldn’t shout as much as we do. Actually, we don’t have to. We’re called to kindness, mercy, and love. And to do it quietly, because we’ve been shown so much kindness, mercy, and love.
Beggars who found bread don’t need to shout. God is big and we are little.
Best to leave the shouting to God.
I’m Steve Brown. You think about that.
