Does it sometimes get dark for you in your life?

That’s true for all of us. Me too. Let me, let me give you one of the wisest principles I know, when one’s going through a hard time of doubt, here it is.

Never doubt in the dark what God has taught you in the light.

I live by that, but with an addendum from a friend of mine who says.

Never doubt in the light what God taught you in the dark.

In other words, don’t waste the dark periods, they’re from him too. It’s hard to remember that in the dark, when the light shines again, be glad, but don’t forget what you learned.
