Family of God

A woman friend of mine once told me, Steve, Christian women can’t demand their rights without violating the essence of their Christian faith.

Then she paused and pointed her finger at me and said, so it’s up to you, buster.

You know, I’ve taken that seriously. And you know why? Because nobody’s free until everybody is free.

Christians need to remember that we’re here for each other, when you cry, I ought to taste salt. When you’re demeaned, I’m demeaned. When you celebrate victory, I celebrate too. That’s what the family of God is all about. Women’s rights aren’t women’s rights, they are the rights of all Christians.
