The closer you get to God, the better you are.
Someone has said that the secret of a happy marriage is that twice a week, no matter what, we go out to dinner, soft lights, music, good food.
She goes on Tuesday and I go on Thursday.
That’s funny, but there’s some truth in it. Giving space is important in every relationship, including marriage. It’s so easy to smother a relationship.
Well, except our relationship with God, that’s different. To wit, the closer you get, the better you are. He never wishes we would give him space. Ever.
