I Know More

A man once told me he was no longer going to read the Bible.

I asked him why, and he said, cause I already know more than I can do.

I told him that he wasn’t far from the kingdom. Do you know why? Because the point is to get to the point where you know more than you can do.

When you’re there, don’t do more, that’s the point. You can’t. Instead, why not let Jesus do the rest for you?

Now, that I think about it, He already has. It’s what the Christian faith is all about. Don’t know about you, but that makes me feel better.

I’m old and about as good as I’m going to get.
