One time Baron Rothschild, the famous financier was posing as a beggar.

A reporter who was there didn’t know and gave him $5. Years later, the reporter got an envelope with a check for $5,000 in it. There was a note. “Sir, Years ago you gave $5 to me. I invested it. Now you have it back with interest.” Signed, Baron Rothschild.
