Looking Like Love

Ever notice how couples who’ve been married a long time start resembling each other?

They pick up each other’s mannerisms, start talking alike, smiling the same way. You know why? Cause we grow to resemble what we love.

I met an angry preacher last week, he yelled at me. I felt condemned and disvalued. I’m not the guy’s mother or his judge, but he didn’t look much like Jesus.

If you really love Jesus, you’ll start looking like Him, Oh, I don’t mean beard and the sandals and the robe. I’m talking about the love, the gentleness, the strength and compassion.
