My Father

My father became a Christian just after he was told he was terminal and he was gonna die.

True story. Son, he said to me, all my life I’ve played the angles and this time there are no angles to play.

When God fences you in and you don’t have any more angles to play, it’s best to just give up.

Someone once said, to say I was searching for God would be like saying that a mouse was searching for a cat. He’s relentless.

So, give it up. You can run, but you can’t hide. Running from someone who only wants to love you is silly.
