Christians, like fireflies, need to be free. Don’t forget about God’s unconditional love and forgiveness and your light will shine!
I grew up in the mountains where there were lots of fireflies and I’d catch them and put them in a jar, problem was the next morning, they’d be dead.
Jesus said to the religious people of his day that they would travel land and sea to get one convert, then make him worse than he was before. We do that sometimes, we put new Christians in a jar of rules and regulations and their light grows dimmer and dimmer. And then they die.
Christians like fireflies need to be free, don’t forget about God’s unconditional love and forgiveness and your light will shine.
