If the sermon is boring, remember that a crying baby can come in handy.
They were a young couple going to the movies.
Their baby was sleeping, and they figured that it was safe to bring her. As the movie started, it became apparent that the movie was boring and silly, and the husband said to his wife, let’s get out of here. Pinch the baby.
The crying baby covers a hurried exit. You might want to remember that at church the next time the sermon is boring or the service is way too long. People will be as glad to see you leave as you will be in leaving. You can repent later. Besides Jesus may have left before you did.
