Self-Righteousness

You’re probably better than you think you are, but God won’t tell you.
The Bible says that you’re going to get better and to quit worrying about it.
The Bible also says that God won’t let you see how much better you’re getting. You know why? Because he knows that if he gives us an inch, we’ll take a mile.
Getting better can very easily lead to self-righteousness. I’ve been there and I’ve done that and visit quite regularly. And God hates self-righteousness almost more than anything else.
So, you’re probably better than you think you are. It’s just that God won’t tell you because, well because he loves you dummy.
