Talk The Walk

Everybody says, walk the talk.

That sounds good, but I have trouble doing that. I can be good, I just can’t be good enough, long enough. That’s why Jesus died for me.

Better I learn to talk the walk, telling people why I’m free and forgiven and loved when I don’t deserve it. I really thought I would be better by now, but I still can’t walk the talk very well.

But I can talk the walk. People who need to be forgiven, free and loved, will listen. You see they already know that they don’t deserve it. The others will think you lost your salvation. When in fact, you just found out what to do with it.
