Tears

God, in his care, is drawn to your tears and keeps them in a bottle.
Keep on crying and I’ll give you something to cry about.
Did your mother or father ever say that to you? My parents did. And when they did, I stopped crying. In fact, I’ve spent most of my life trying to stop crying.
Then I read the Bible where the Psalmist said, that God keeps track of my tears, counts them, keeps them in a bottle. Now that’s freeing.
I probably won’t cry any less, but I’m not going to hide it anymore either. If that makes you uncomfortable, deal with it, God isn’t uncomfortable, in fact, he’s drawn to the tears.
