Thirsty

If you’re a Christian, you’re a member of the only group in the world where the only qualification for membership is that you’re unqualified.

Problem is after becoming a Christian, most of us spend the rest of our lives trying to qualify. You might as well give up, you can’t do it.

It’s impossible to earn God’s unconditional love. Jesus said this,

If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.

Now that’s refreshing. Notice that he didn’t say, if anyone used to be thirsty, come to me, You don’t have to be qualified to be God’s child. You just have to be thirsty.
