If you’re looking for a church, plan on getting hurt. Christians are not wonderful people.
Somebody has said that where two or three people are gathered in Jesus’ name, there’s trouble.
That’s true. I’ve been there and I’ve done that.
So, if you’re not a Christian and you’re checking out a church, listen: leave before you get hurt. We’re not wonderful people. We’ll stab you in the back, we’ll gossip about you and we won’t let you in our cliques. But if you decide to stay, you’ll discover the most profound and wonderful family you’ve ever known. It’s the fellowship of sinners who are trying to get better and who know if they don’t, God will love them anyway.
So, y’all come.
