Fools & Turtles

I made a fool of myself the other day.

I hate it when I do that. I told God if he would make people think I was brilliant and wise, I’d give him the credit. He laughed, and said better you be a fool. That way, when I do something, they won’t get confused about who did it.

God said something like that to Paul in the Bible. He said,

My power is made perfect in weakness.

Or as a friend of mine says, when you see a turtle on a gatepost, know he didn’t get there by himself. Now that sounds really spiritual, until you’re the turtle.
