If you’ve spent much time in churches, you’ve probably heard of “the Proverbs 31 woman.” Women read Proverbs 31:10-31 and either strive to emulate this ideal, or they hate her guts because they know they’ll never measure up. Time for a reality check!

Lauren has been married to her husband Daniel for 11 years and is a mother of three. She has a Masters of Divinity, Masters of Sacred Theology, and is currently working on her PhD at the University of Zurich. Lauren is also a postulant for holy orders in the Episcopal Church, a popular blogger, regular writer for KeyLife.org, and the co-host of Ezer Uncaged, a podcast on grace and gender. She has obviously taken this Proverbs 31 thing pretty seriously.
