Key Life Pastors’ Chat – Redeeming Singleness
JANUARY 19, 2016
Many times in the church, pastors treat singles like second-class citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven. Countless sermons and conferences focus on building healthy marriages and raising godly children while the singles in the church are often underserved and misunderstood. Being married with kids is held up as the ideal of not only personal fulfillment, but also biblical fulfillment of the creation mandate to be fruitful and multiply.
But the Bible contains a deep, and too often neglected, theology of singleness that empowers single people with a kingdom vision that can transform churches and the world.
Join Barry Danylak and Suzy Grumelot as they talk with Steve Brown and his pastor Kevin Labby about Barry’s book, Redeeming Singleness: How the Storyline of Scripture Affirms the Single Life.
