Welcome! I’m an old, cynical preacher who’s done this for probably longer than some of you have been alive. The board and staff of Key Life always thought that when I died or drooled, we would shut down the ministry, thankful for what God did in people’s lives and that we didn’t lose too many.

That was when we realized God had created something important and it wasn’t about Steve Brown. It was about God’s unconditional and astonishing grace. It was about radical freedom, infectious joy and surprising faithfulness.

Now we have intentionally made the decision to bring new voices and ministries under the banner of Key Life…people who share a passion for telling God’s people that God isn’t angry at them. We are obsessively biblical, passionately honest, embarrassingly authentic and demonstrably screwed-up.

And we’re not going to shilly-shally.

It is our desire that when you come here, you will be coming to the trusted source for the message of God’s grace. Expect laughter because once you “get” it you find yourself laughing a lot. Expect to be offended because this message—while radically biblical and orthodox—is counterintuitive to everything you’ve (if you’re like me) believed. Expect a benediction and to be thankful for it because nobody ever thought that God was this good, this kind and this unconditional.

But mostly, when you visit Key Life, you’ll find the truth. It’s not our truth. It’s God’s truth. It’s the truth that will be an anchor to your life…convicting, changing, drawing, molding and setting you free.
