The 51st Psalm, a Psalm of failure. David was abusive, a murderer, a rapist, but he is also in the lineage of Jesus. Why would God include this dirt in the Bible? Why would God call David ‘a man after God’s own heart?’ The Bible is full of failures. What does that mean for us?
