If our nation turned to God, we could pick our leaders from the phonebook.
Someone has said that the Washington establishment is a lot like the Boy Scouts.
Only the Boy Scouts have adult supervision.
Sometimes I feel that way. We think if we could just replace those who are there, things would get better. No, they wouldn’t. And do you know why? Because the Bible says the heart is deceitful above all things.
And that includes those who are there now and those who might replace them. On the other hand, if as a nation we turn to God, we could pick our leaders from the phone book and they would do just fine.
