Dead Plants

Jesus said, by their fruit you will know them.

Let me give you some good advice I got recently from a friend. Never go to a doctor, she said, whose plants have died. Good point, that. Do you know what I’ve started doing with the doctors who look after me? I’ve started checking the plants in their office.

When you fail, you’re lonely, afraid, in a dark place, there’s one doctor you can go to, his name is Jesus, the Great Physician. And you can go to him and trust him, and you know why? Because his plants live forever.
