Desire

One of the Prime Ministers of England was told by cynical friend, the desire for peace does not ensure peace.

The Prime Minister replied, that’s true. And the desire for food doesn’t ensure food, but it does cause one to start moving in the direction of the restaurant.

I never would’ve run to God if he had not created in me a desire for him. Someone has said.

Unfulfilled desires, I suppose, could be sinful, but more often than not, they are gifts. Don’t crush the flower of desire, water it.
