I’m Famous

There’s a story about a famous actress who was on a cruise, met a man who had a terrible cold, and she said she knew exactly what he should do.

Go back to your state room, she said, drink lots of orange juice, get under the cover and sweat it out. And I know what I’m talking about because I’m famous. Thank you, he said, I’m Charles Mayo of the Mayo Clinic.

I can identify with her. In fact, I do that sometimes with God. He’s glad to be with me, in fact, he likes me a lot, about 10% more than he likes you. But he hardly ever asks for my advice. He doesn’t need it.
