Installment Plan

Jesus made all the payments for your sin…so you can relax and go out and play.
I have a friend who says that sin is always paid for on an installment plan, while goodness is always paid for in cash.
When you do something good, you pay cash and collect dividends. But when you sin, Satan won’t let you pay cash. It’s an installment plan, and you make payments the rest of your life.
There’s some truth to that. But what if someone who is quite affluent steps in and makes all the payments? That’s what Jesus did. If you keep making all those payments, it’s called false guilt. So, stop it and then go out and play with the other children.
