There’s an interesting story in the Bible about a young man.

His name was John Mark, who messed up and ran from his calling when he was young.

The story has a happy ending. He ended up writing a best-selling biography of Jesus. The apostle Paul however rejected him because of his failure. Paul was so focused on God’s work that he forgot about John Mark.

When I was a pastor, I used to pray, Lord, I could do this job, if it weren’t for all these people. He always said, son, they are your job. So, if you’re a leader, be passionate about the place God calls you, but don’t forget about us. Okay?
