On their 50th wedding anniversary, the couple was asked their secret for a happy marriage.

For my part, said the husband, I’ve tried not to be selfish. After all, there is no “I” in the word marriage. The wife said, my secret is that for 50 years, I’ve never tried to correct my husband’s spelling.

Ah, good policy. Marriage is a place where two people decide to accept each other as they are. After all, Jesus loved us enough to do that.

On the other hand, he also loved us enough to not leave us the way we are. And to keep on loving us if we don’t change.
