A soldier who had been wounded in the Second World War, after leaving the hospital, visited every possible attraction in Europe, before returning to America.

I’ve been told, he said that I’m going blind. And I’m painting pictures on the canvas of my mind until I do.

That’s what memories are all about. Pictures on our minds of God’s faithfulness. When we thought we were going to die, but didn’t, but wanted to, God was there. That picture is on the canvas of our minds.

The world says have a drink and forget. Jesus says drink and remember. We’ll share those pictures when we get home.
