Overcome the World

Did you hear about the man who heard that over 70 percent of automobile accidents happened within a mile of home?

You know what he did? He moved. I hear people saying all the time, I don’t feel safe or that makes me uncomfortable. What? Do you want to live as an outsider of the human race? We don’t live in a safe world.

But we do have a safe Savior, who said.

In this world you’ll have tribulation, but I have overcome the world.

That works for me, even if I don’t always feel safe or comfortable. It’s doable. And that’s all I’m promised.
