Regret

I have a friend who had a beard for years.

And one morning he decided to shave it off. After he did that, he went to wake up his little girl who was still asleep. When he did, she looked at him and started crying. She said, oh daddy put it back.

He told me later that at that moment if he could have, he would’ve put it back. Problem is that there’s some things that are not easily put back. If you’re in a place like that, it’s cold regret, and if you’re a believer, cut it out.

Maybe you aren’t supposed to put it back, and by not being able to put it back, God is asking you to trust him. Trusting God with things you can’t fix. Great idea.
