The Fortune Teller

You are loved, free, and acceptable.
The young man sat with the fortune teller and she read his palm.
What do you see? He asked. You’ll be poor, rejected and miserable until you’re 40. Good heavens he said, then what will happen? Then she said, you’ll get used to it.
You ever feel that you’ve been down so long that you’re used to it? Try to remember that you’re loved, free, acceptable and you’re going to live forever. Jesus called it abundant life. Don’t go to fortune tellers. They’ll lie to you and stay away from preachers who say the same thing. They’re not lying, they’re just wrong.
