When it’s Dark

Sometimes we just need someone to taste the salt of our tears.
He was a father who’s son died of cancer.
His neighbors had a seven year old son who went to see the bereaved father. The parents of a little boy asked what they had talked about. And the little boy said, we didn’t talk about anything. I sat in his lap. And we cried together.
Sometimes, sometimes we don’t need theology or advice, or even Bible verses. Sometimes when it’s really dark, we just need someone to taste the salt of our tears.
That’s what Christians are supposed to do. It’s often, enough.
