I’m the most religious friend you’ve got.

The other day, somebody told me I should stop working for God. The worker has the job as long as he’s sweating for the boss, but when the day’s done, he goes back to his shack.

My friend said, “Steve, you’re not a worker for God. You’re a son, sons get an inheritance, they’re never fired and they get to live in the Father’s house. God loves you, not for your work, but because you’re his son. Try to remember that.”

Sometimes I forget, and then I get depressed, worried. But when I’m remember, I run home where it’s safe and warm. And there’s plenty to eat.
