In Luke 4, we see that grace is Jesus’ job description. He came to bring good news and radical freedom to poor prisoners and sick sinners. When Jesus is in the building, it’s all good… but there is a kicker. Grace is only good news for those who need it. Join Steve to find out what on earth would make Jesus leave the building.

christian life

I struggled for years with the loud and persistent message of God against sinners. The idea was that if you were a smoker, a drinker, a skimming-off-the-top candlestick maker, God despised you and your evil ways and you might as well stay away. apologetics jesus salvation theology

Before you reject the Christian faith, make sure you’re rejecting the real thing. Reject the indiscriminate love God has for you. Reject the message that God helps those who can’t help themselves. But don’t miss out on all the freedom and joy that could be yours because you missed the real Jesus while rejecting the twisted version of Jesus so many offer today.

steve's devotional

I want to introduce you to someone so evil that most Christians can’t even comprehend that evil. I want to introduce you to a being who is as evil as God is good; as selfish as God is unselfish; and as hateful as God is loving. His name is Satan and he is out to get you. Let’s check out Ephesians 6:10-12.
