Dying Grace

If you’re scared to do something religious…go out and irritate somebody.
I have a friend who believes in dying grace.
That means that he believes that when it’s your time to die, you will have great peace. I visited him in the hospital once, asked him how he was doing. I’m scared to death, he said. And if I weren’t scared to death, I would really be scared to death.
Actually, believe it or not, when you’re afraid, maybe it’s because of his grace. Courage without fear isn’t courage, it’s unimportant. So, if you’re scared about doing something God told you to do, do it anyway. The peace comes later.
